I recently took a trip to Kyoto, Japan, and it was a dream come true. The city is famous for its temples, and I was excited to explore them, especially during the autumn season. The leaves were changing colors, painting the landscape in vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows. It was the perfect time for a relaxing walk.
I started my journey on the Hankyu train. The ride was smooth and comfortable. As the train glided through the countryside, I could see the mountains in the distance. The scenery was beautiful, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I couldn’t wait to arrive in Kyoto.
Konkai Kōmyō-ji Temple
Once I reached Kyoto, I made my way to my first stop: Konkai Kōmyō-ji Temple. This temple is known for its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. As I walked through the entrance, I was greeted by a beautiful garden. The autumn leaves were falling gently, creating a colorful carpet on the ground. I took a deep breath and felt the fresh air fill my lungs. After spending some time at Konkai Kōmyō-ji, I headed to my next destination: Shinshō Gokuraku-ji Temple, also known as Shinnyo-dō. The walk between the two temples was just as enjoyable as the temples themselves. I strolled along tree-lined paths, with leaves crunching under my feet. The air was crisp, and the colors were breathtaking.

The sight was incredible. I felt like I was in a painting.Inside the temple, I found a peaceful atmosphere. The soft light filtered through the windows, creating a warm glow. The quietness was refreshing. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As I walked around the temple grounds, I noticed small details that made the experience even more special. There were stone lanterns, and carefully arranged gardens. Each corner held a new surprise. I took my time, snapping photos and enjoying the moment.
After exploring Shinshō Gokuraku-ji, I decided to take a leisurely stroll back. The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden light over the landscape. The autumn leaves glowed in the warm light, making everything look magical. I felt grateful for the opportunity to experience such beauty.
